Ingredients

  • 200 ml oat or almond plant-based milk
  • ½ teaspoon Good Routine® Wellness Foods Organic Ashwagandha
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 pinch of Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey, optional
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon coconut oil, optional, for texture

Step-by-step preparation

  • 1. Warm the plant-based milk
  • Pour the milk into a small saucepan and warm it over low heat. Do not let it boil.
  • 2. Add the powders
  • Add the ashwagandha, turmeric and cinnamon to the warm milk.
  • 3. Mix well
  • Use a small whisk or a milk frother to disperse the powders evenly.
  • 4. Add the pepper
  • Add a pinch of black pepper. It traditionally pairs with turmeric in golden latte recipes.
  • 5. Add the honey
  • Once the milk has cooled slightly, add the honey if you'd like a sweeter taste.
  • 6. Froth
  • For a creamy texture, froth the drink for 10-15 seconds.
  • 7. Serve warm
  • Pour into a cup and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top.
